Untitled
[edit]There is a statement about Sandy McCutcheon circulating on the Internet -- the one published on the ABC's site -- that has what seems to me an inconsistency. It claims that Sandy's first novel, In Wolf's Clothing was entered into the 1995 HarperCollins Fiction Prize competition and came runner-up out of a field of 400 novels. At the same time, this book was published in 1997. Another source claims that it has not been runner-up, but shortlisted. I have not been able to find any further information about this matter. --Evgeni Sergeev 12:16, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Clarification
[edit]The National Fiction Prize in 1995 was for unpublished manuscripts. It was not until 1997 that In Wolf's Clothing was published. Hence the two dates. It was reprinted in 1998.
